What does this mean?

  • COMETS JUNIOR PRESENTATION scheduled for Saturday, 21st March has been CANCELLED.

  • CSJBA Baseball Grand Finals scheduled for Saturday, 21st March are CANCELLED

The rescheduled grand finals will be treated as Abandoned Games, and
the team first into the Grand Final will be awarded winners.

  • CSMLBA Baseball Grand Finals scheduled for Sunday, 22nd March – Awaiting confirmation (expected to be CANCELLED)

What this means for the CSMLBA and the 2019-2020 Grand Finals:

The CSMLBA has made a submission to BNSW for consideration to allow the Grand Finals to be played (and allow us to finish out our season); we are still waiting on a reply to that.

While we wait for that request to be reviewed, the CSMLBA will use the last remaining backup weekend, and postpone the remaining Grand Finals to Sunday 29th March, as provided under the rules and having space on the calendar reserved as our “second backup weekend”.

Should in the event that the request is denied or no reply received by Thursday 26th March, the CSMLBA Exec will have to invoke CSMLBA Procedure 11.03.02, where the first team into the Grand Final will be declared Premiers.
